Arrow Snake Puzzle · Last updated: 18 October 2026
This policy explains what the Arrow Snake Puzzle mobile game
(com.snackpuzzle.snack_puzzle_game) does with your data.
We do not ask you for personal information
The game has no sign-up form and no password. We never ask for your real name, email address, phone number, photos, contacts, location or files, and the game does not request any of those Android permissions.
The only thing you type in is an optional nickname for the global leaderboard, and you can choose anything you like.
What stays on your device
Your progress and preferences are saved in the app's own local storage on your device. This includes:
- Level progress, stars, coins, XP, streak and unlocked achievements
- Chosen theme, skins and avatar
- Settings such as sound, vibration, particles, screen shake, reduce motion and high-contrast HUD
It is deleted when you uninstall the app or use Settings → Reset Progress.
If you choose to sign in to Google Play Games, a copy of your progress is also saved to your own Play Games account so it survives a reinstall or a new phone. That copy is stored by Google in your account; we cannot see it.
Global leaderboard (Supabase)
The game has a global leaderboard hosted on Supabase, a database service. To take part, the game creates an anonymous account for your device (no email or password) and sends:
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| A random player key made by the game, and the anonymous account ID | To keep one leaderboard entry per player |
| Your nickname and chosen avatar | Shown next to your score |
| Your highest level and today's progress | To rank the All Time and Today boards |
| Daily reward claims | So each daily coin gift is paid only once |
Your nickname, avatar and level are visible to other players. Do not use your real name as a nickname if you do not want it shown.
Analytics and crash reports (Google Firebase)
To understand how the game is played and to fix problems, the game uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. They collect:
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Gameplay events: levels started, completed or failed, time taken, hints and power-ups used, rewarded ads watched, screens opened | To see which levels are too hard and which features are used |
| A random app-instance ID created by Firebase | To count players and sessions without knowing who they are |
| Device and app information (model, Android version, app version, language) and approximate country derived from the IP address | To see where problems happen and which devices to support |
| Crash and error reports (what the app was doing when it failed) | To find and fix bugs |
These events never include your nickname, avatar or any other personal detail. We use this data only to improve the game; we do not sell it and we do not use it to show you ads. Google processes it for us under its own terms:
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game is free and shows ads through Google AdMob: rewarded videos you choose to watch for a reward (an extra hint, a route reveal, an extra life or coins), an occasional full-screen ad between levels, small banner ads on some menu screens, and an ad when you return to the app.
To serve those ads, Google's advertising SDK collects data directly from your device. We do not receive it. Google acts as an independent controller of that data, and it typically includes:
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Advertising ID (a resettable device identifier) | To select ads and limit how often the same ad repeats |
| IP address and coarse location derived from it | Region-appropriate ads and legal compliance |
| Device and app information (model, OS version, app version) | Ad compatibility and fraud prevention |
| Ad interaction events (views, completions, clicks) | Ad measurement and payment |
Google's handling of this data is governed by its own policies:
Your choices about ads
- You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads, which also lets you turn off ad personalisation.
- If you are in a region that requires a consent choice (such as the EEA, the UK or Switzerland), the game shows Google's consent form the first time it runs. Where that applies, a Privacy Choices entry appears in the game's Settings screen so you can change your answer later.
- Declining personalised ads does not lock you out of anything.
Who receives data
We do not sell or share your data with anyone. The only services that receive data from the game are the ones named above: Google (AdMob, Firebase and, if you sign in, Play Games) and Supabase (the leaderboard).
Children
This game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game, contact us and we will act on it.
Your rights
- To remove your leaderboard entry, email us your nickname and we will delete it.
- Analytics and crash data are linked only to a random ID, not to you; they are kept by Firebase for a limited time and then deleted automatically.
- To remove everything stored on your phone, use Settings → Reset Progress or uninstall the app.
- For data held by Google as an ad provider, use the Google links above.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's store listing.
